Comprehensive Eye Exam: $75
A routine comprehensive exam includes a thorough history, preliminary testing of specific aspects of visual functioning and eye health such as depth perception, color vision, eye muscle movements, peripheral or side vision, and the way your pupils respond to light. It also includes a refraction to determine your best visual acuity and glasses prescription, and a thorough evaluation of your eye health. Dilation is included.
Contact lens examinations:
Toric, Multifocal, RGP: $125
A contact lens evaluation is required every year to update your prescription. It includes all of the services in the comprehensive exam plus an evaluation of the contact lenses on your eyes to ensure a good fit, evaluation of the health of the cornea specific to contact lenses, any trial pairs of contacts needed to determine your final prescription, and 3 months of follow up care related to the fitting of your contacts. After 3 months there is a $30 refitting fee to change a contact lens brand or prescription.
Medical Eye exam: start at $65
Medical exams include the diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions such as pink eye, dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, floaters, etc. A prescription for medication is included if needed and, additional testing may be required at an additional charge.
(Includes 1 follow up visit at N/C – additional follow ups billed at $20 each)
Optomap Retinal Scan: $20
We are proud to be able to offer the Optomap retinal exam as an alternative to dilation. It is a 200 degree digital scan of the retina and does not require any eye drops. It gives us a comparable image to monitor eye health from year to year and it highly recommended for all ages; especially those patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, or a family history or eye diseases such as glaucoma or macular degeneration.
